Greetings and welcome to Tsukuba University! I look forward to our 30 weeks together, and rest assured that you will be a better writer after all those classes. Below you'll find material that we'll use throughout the year--in class I will explain, but you may explore as you'd like. The pictures to the right, you ask? Some are of Tsukuba, some of my things and people in my world--enjoy. |

January, 2011: Hi everyone. This beautiful pink table shows the times when I will be available to meet with pairs of students. You and your partner need to contact me by e-mail and request a time (remember to send a polite e-mail...click this link for an example). As I will have mentioned in class, the meeting will last about 20 minutes. Meetings will be in my office on the 5th floor of the Foreign Language Center unless you ask for a special meeting place. See you in class and in my office soon!
