Welcome to Twigglesworth-on-Avon

Greetings, detectives! Thanks for visiting our homepage (which is mostly about the TOA mystery). Just click the appropriate link to continue, and have fun!

As you know from class, this year your detective group will work on and solve the TOA mystery. What exactly is the mystery? Be patient, good people...

April 23, 2009: your homework

Hi everyone! For my Thursday classes, your homework is to send me an e-mail with your 10 mystery words. You know where to find my e-mail addresses (either one is fine). Your e-mail would then look something like this:

Did I receive Outside Projects from everyone?

* Class papers

Remember to ask questions if you don't understand--the Help Phrases paper is so very, very helpful.

OK, campers, you have until the end of January, 2010 to complete the two Outside Projects. ** If you need help finding someone to talk to, please ask me! **

Before you visit my office, you'll need to send me a polite e-mail to schedule a time.

When you visit my office, you'll need to do so politely.

January, 2011: Hi everyone. This beautiful pink table shows the times when I will be available to meet with detective agencies. During your meeting with me you'll need to explain your solution to the TOA mystery; of course, you may also talk about other things or ask questions. Your detective agency will need to contact me by e-mail and request a time (remember to send a polite e-mail...click this link for an example). As I will have mentioned in class, the meeting will last about 20 minutes. Meetings will be in my office on the 5th floor of the Foreign Language Center unless you ask for a special meeting place. See you in class and in my office soon!
